The Magician: creative energy of True Will
If into the Hero’s Journey The Fool’s card represents the call to adventure, The Magician symbolizes the stage in which the direction is revealed. He does not wander about: his destiny is clear, the necessary instruments to travel are at his disposal.
In tarot, The Magician represents the creative energy, the ability to concentrate, and the willpower capable of starting any project. Unlike the Fool, it has the power to perform.

Transparent Intelligence
The line between The Magician and The Fool is tenuous. Many of the first tarot decks did not have this separation, with a single card representing the two archetypes.
Perhaps because both usually indicate a beginning. However, there is a fundamental difference here. It can be well understood by looking at the path represented by the archetypes in the Tree of Life.
The one associated with the Fool is named Aleph and leads from Kether to Chokmah, the second sephirah. Chokmah energy consists only of strength, has no form. Being in the upper triangle of the Tree, Chokmah (or Hokmah) represents the first movement of Creation.
